Baja Safari Special Recipe: Mexicali Pork Chops

RECIPE:
Mexicali Pork Chops

Pork Chops with a Mexican flavor.

Serving: 4
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

4 or loin chops (1-1/2″ thick) boneless pork chop
1 1/2 cup Baja Safari Salsa
1/2 tsp dried oregano
to taste salt and pepper
1/2 shredded cup Monterey Jack cheese
vegetable cooking spray

DIRECTIONS:

1. Spray vegetable cooking spray in skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Brown the chops for 2 minutes on each side.

2. Add the salsa, oregano, salt and pepper to the skillet.

3. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 8 minutes at low simmer

4. Top each chop with cheese. Cover and cook 1 minute or till the cheese is melted. Makes 4 servings.
