We followed the race from San Diego all the way to La Paz & Cabo! With NOS High Performance Energy Drink.

Nico at the Start Line with the race girls! We enjoyed Ensenada Baja Norte for the start of the 39th Baja 1000, the taco shops, the international shopping and the wine country of Mexico, in Northern Baja. We needed the extra energy of NOS High Performance Energy Drink!

Howard and Cindy in La Paz and on the road! All the way to the Finish Line in La Paz, Southern Baja California, Mexico. Over One-Thousand miles of dangerous Baja desert, we saw every “greatest hit” of Baja, The Best Of Baja. The beaches, people and land of Mexico.

At the Hotel California, the Tequila Bar. Baja’s Best Hotel, Restaurant, Tequila Bar, Gift Shop, has to be the Hotel California. We were treated like royalty in Todos Santos at the Hotel California, Home of Hotel California Tequila!

On the beach in Cabo San Lucas for breakfast. At the end of our trip, Cabo San Lucas and the Cabo Safari Ranch, we enjoyed Epic Offroad, Fishing and Nightlife! After a thousand miles of racing fun and the start and finish lines of the Baja 1000 we still had the energy to Rock Cabo with NOS High Performance Energy Drink.

Mercury & Baja Space Weather Update

The November 8, Transit of Mercury is worth a look. Just be sure to use proper
eyewear. Welders filters, etc.
Heres a link to NASA for more info.
Heres a link for REAL TIME COVERAGE

Solar activity is about to increase--or so it seems. An active sunspot is
hiding just behind the sun's eastern limb. For the past three days, it has been
erupting, throwing clouds of magnetized gas high above the sun's surface where
they can be seen from Earth. Some of these explosions have also produced strong
radio bursts heard in the loudspeakers of ham-radio rigs. Soon, perhaps later
today or tomorrow, the sun's rotation will turn the sunspot toward Earth,
providing a direct view of the active region. If it is indeed a big spot, we
could be in for some stormy space weather in the days ahead.
Typically, there is no noticeable effect when such space weather hits earth,
on Baja Mexico. However, at times, if the solar activity is high enough, morning
auroral effects can be seen with the naked eye. You'll see a false dawn of 'white'
light, on the northeastern horizon. If you take a picture of the sight, your film shot
will show the white light as 'light purple to purple'. Your eletronic pic could come out
either color.
