Baja Safari’s CABO 500 Success
The CABO 500 was the first American invitational National Championship Offroad race of Mexico. It was also the very first State Offroad Championship race for the state of Southern Baja Mexico. Newspapers and other media outlets in Baja Sur, proclaimed the race as “Historic”, because it was the first time the largest Mexico Championship race had included “International Teams”.
“Baja Safari is proud to have participated in the CABO 500. The event serves as proof of the ability of the company in motorsports services and offroad community promotions”, said Mike Overcast of Baja Safari. “This is the very first race of its kind and gives the sport an important boost to expand into Southern Baja Mexico”. Recently, the Association of Offroad racing in Southern Baja Mexico entered into agreements with us to promote and expand the sport of offroad racing. “Southern Baja is the “Capital Of Offroad”, and we look forward to bringing fans, teams and new publics to La Paz and Cabo San Lucas to accomplish our goals.
We already have provided two groups of offroaders with tours of the CABO 500, since the race, racing the route, enjoying the great food and drink and people of Southern Baja Mexico. We have plans to expand our racing and adventure tours throughout the year. Contact the club for more details at safariclub@cox.net
